My Hong Kong Trip in an Instagram summary!
1. (UL) That’s me with my gong cha drink. Paco and I love that brand of tea. We were amazed that it’s available in HK…. well, duh. Haha.
2. (UR) A shot from the top of The Peak. It doesn’t seem cold, but I tell you, we were freezing up there when I took this shot.
3. (LL) A building shot when we stopped over at a corner road. We got lost in HK. Actually, we didn’t. I just panicked and realized that we got down on a wrong station haha.
4. (LR) That’s me and Paco right after the parade in Hong Kong Disneyland. I am really happy to have spent this trip with him. I couldn’t imagine anyone else with me that moment :)
SO THAT’S MY HONG KONG ESCAPADE IN A NUTSHELL!
I really don’t know how to explain what happened to some parts of Visayas after Yolanda typhoon, but I guess we are aware of it since it is all over the news.
This is the best time to show our Filipino spirit and to reach out to those who were totally wiped out by the typhoon. The Filipino Yolanda victims need our help. I’ve been receiving and hearing news about the insane lack of relief goods and man power there, and I could not do anything but feel helpless. To be honest, I really don’t have enough things to donate, but right now, I really just don’t care and I am just giving what I have here at home. Hundreds of families are still left with no clothes and no food for days. It is insane ‘cause anarchy is actually happening in Tacloban and in some parts of Visayas. It kind of reminds me of ‘Lord of the Flies’ and trust me, this is not cute anymore (LOF is darkly cute for me, ok?).
So please donate…a hundred pesos can feed a family already. If you cannot donate monetarily, then you can donate your old clothes and drive them out to the nearest relief operation stations. Check this LINK for the list of organizations accepting donations for the typhoon Yolanda victims.
